The loosening of travel restrictions early in 2022 brought a rush of holiday bookings, according to Jet2.com and Jet2holidays. The company reported strong demand for Spain and Greece among its summer destinations.
Its February update said half-term bookings had risen compared with the equivalent period in 2020. The announcement also described growing demand for Portugal, Italy, Turkey and Cyprus.
