The Melbourne Sports Business Society's March welcome barbeque was listed for 10 March at the Nona Lee Sports Centre. The free event was aimed at new students looking to meet others with an interest in sport and the work that surrounds it.
The society appears in the University of Melbourne Student Union's club directory. Its stated aims include giving people who are interested in sport a place to build friendships and connections.
For students considering joining, a casual campus event is a useful starting point. Ask about membership, the next social gathering and any talks or industry events on the calendar. The student union's directory is the place to check the society's current details.
