The Chinese Museum was again a venue for the Melbourne International Comedy Festival in its 40th year. Its 2026 event listing ran from 25 March to 19 April at 22 Cohen Place, in Melbourne's Chinatown.
The museum directed audiences to the festival programme for the individual shows and booking details. Performances used the venue's smaller rooms, putting comedy inside a building more often visited for its exhibitions and collection.
